How Helical Pile Underpinning Works

At AM Screw Pile & Construction, we use engineered helical screw piles to underpin failing foundations. Piles are installed through or adjacent to the existing foundation and driven down until they reach competent bearing material. The building’s load is then transferred from the failing soil to the stable ground below.

In many cases, the structure can also be lifted and leveled back to its original position.
